چکیده
The aim of this study is to examine the empirical cointegration, long-run and short-run dynamics causal relationships between carbon emissions, energy consumption economic growth in 14 Danube region countries over period 1990–2019. autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) bounds testing methodology was applied for each examined variables as a dependent variable. Limited by length time series, we excluded two from analysis obtained valid results others 26 36 ARDL models. reliably confirmed cointegration Austria, Czechia, Slovakia, Slovenia. Economic have significant impact on emissions all these four countries; short-run, Austria. Likewise, when examining consumption, contribution CO2 consumptions seven found result nine contribute information base essential making responsible informed decisions policymakers other stakeholders individual countries. Moreover, they can serve platform mutual cooperation cohesion among region.

Impact of Financial Development on CO2 Emissions: Panel Data Evidence from Iran’s Economic Sectors
Introduction: The national trend indicates that various provinces of Iran have experienced in attaining economic growth exclusive of parallel observing a boost in CO2 emissions. It is clear that the effects of CO2 emissions on health indicators such as death rate, infant mortality, and health expenditures have been ignored by policy makers over the last decade. Methods: This study for ...
متن کاملRenewable Energy Consumption, Economic Growth and Co2 Emissions: Evidence from Selected Mena Countries
This paper uses panel cointegration techniques to examine the causal relationship between renewable energy consumption, economic growth and CO2 emissions for a group of 12 MENA countries covering the annual period 1975-2008. The Granger-causality results indicate that there is no causal relationship between these variables in short run except a unidirectional causality running from renewable en...
متن کاملThe nexus of electricity consumption, economic growth and CO2 emissions in the BRICS countries
This study reexamines the causal link between electricity consumption, economic growth and CO2 emissions in the BRICS countries (i.e., Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) for the period 1990– 2010, using panel causality analysis, accounting for dependency and heterogeneity across countries. Regarding the electricity–GDP nexus, the empirical results support evidence on the feedback h...
متن کاملRevisiting the emissions-energy-trade nexus: evidence from the newly industrializing countries.
This paper applies Pedroni's panel cointegration approach to explore the causal relationship between trade openness, carbon dioxide emissions, energy consumption, and economic growth for the panel of newly industrialized economies (i.e., Brazil, India, China, and South Africa) over the period of 1970-2013. Our panel cointegration estimation results found majority of the variables cointegrated a...
متن کاملRevisiting Energy-GDP Nexus for the Selected Countries of the Middle East Region
This paper investigates the relationship between total energy consumption and GDP in six countries of the Middle East , including Iran,Pakistan,Saudi Arabia,Oman,Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. The data are annual and spanning the period 1980-2012.We employed Hsiao’s (1981) methodology to examine causality relation between total energy consumption and GDP.The empirical findings show a uni...
